Exceptional intergrown quartz crystals disclosing Dauphiné – habit. Both crystals showing strong and very narrow striations in combination with fine transparency, this allows you to see the interior contact zone. The matrix is micro- crystalline quartz and beside you see the hexagonal crystal, which could have been apatite, due to the hexagonal crystal shape, which has been replaced by quartz. Very interesting and unusual specimen makes a great item for any quartz collector.
