Mine close to Letpanhla village near Mount Pyin Kyi Thaung, Singu Township, Mandalay Division, Burma (Myanmar)

Very unusual tourmaline crystal from the Letpanhla mine. From this pocket only a few crystals in matrix have been found. Typical for this pocket was the flat pinacoid and that tapering shape towards the base. The crystals seem to be etched later on. This is the last specimen from this pocket I can offer you, it shows black, green and pinkish colors.
