Pyan Gyi mine (West of Pyan Pyit), northeast of Mogok, Burma (Myanmar)

Here you get a mixed amphibole crystal, those are still sold as pargasite but those crystals or cut stones are a mix between three different amphiboles. Analysis’s have shown that those are a combination of (Fluor-) edenite, pargasite and richterite. Here you get a rarely occurring crystal with termination, only one prism side and the base show crystalline fracture faces. Very interesting amphibole!
